La Romana Beach is the smallest of the three beaches in Peguera, in the municipality of Calvià, but also one of the quietest and most pleasant in the area. Situated next to Torà Beach, it stands out for its relaxed atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a less crowded setting without straying too far from the town centre. Surrounded by pine trees, rocks, hotels and villas, La Romana offers a balanced blend of nature and urban surroundings. Its fine white sand and shallow waters make it a very comfortable beach for swimming. Surroundings and location The beach is situated slightly away from the centre of Peguera, which contributes to its quieter atmosphere. At one end, it borders a wooded area, whilst to the east, beyond a small rocky inlet, there is access to a small cove with a more rocky character. A promenade provides easy access and connects La Romana with the rest of Peguera’s coastline. Access and parking Access to La Romana Beach is straightforward: From Palma, take the “Peguera – La Romana” exit on the motorway. At the first roundabout, turn left to reach the beach area. There is free parking in the surrounding area, although space is limited in high season. It is also accessible by public transport. Easy pedestrian access from the promenade. Anchoring The area offers suitable conditions for anchoring in good weather: Exposed to south-easterly, southerly and south-westerly winds. Anchoring on a sandy seabed, with depths between 3 and 5 metres. It is recommended to anchor only during the day and in favourable weather conditions. The Club Nàutic Santa Ponça is located approximately 1.9 nautical miles away.
