Cala Blanca Beach, also known as Es Castellot, is a small, pleasant cove situated in Costa de la Calma, a residential and tourist area bordering Santa Ponça and Peguera. It is a peaceful setting where the sea and the rocks create a natural landscape that is very characteristic of south-west Mallorca. This inlet ends in a rocky, natural beach, with a slope formed by boulders and gravel, and low rocky banks. Its surroundings feature small coves hidden amongst cliffs, giving it a more secluded and authentic atmosphere. Surroundings and location Cala Blanca is one of the most prominent coves in the Costa de la Calma area. It is situated between Punta de los Gatos and Punta de Es Castellot, on a stretch of coastline where there are also small coves and natural nooks amongst rocks and cliffs. Less than 1 km away is Monte de Oro beach, completing a cluster of small coves situated very close to one another. Access and parking Access to Cala Blanca is straightforward: From Palma, take the motorway towards Santa Ponça. Continue to the Costa de la Calma exit. The final access is between Ramón de Moncada and Huguet des Far streets. There is free parking in the nearby streets. There is also a bus stop about 100 metres from the beach. Anchorage Anchoring off the beach is not recommended in this area of the coastline: Conditions are not suitable for safe anchoring. There is a rocky coastline and uneven seabed. The Club Nàutic Santa Ponça is just 0.2 nautical miles away.
