Caló d’en Monjo is one of the most spectacular and unspoilt natural spots in Mallorca. Located in the peaceful area of Cala Fornells, very close to Peguera, it is an unspoilt cove surrounded by Mediterranean woodland, cliffs and virtually untouched nature. This small U-shaped inlet leads to a compact cove where a small stream flows into the sea. The surroundings are dominated by pine trees reaching right down to the shore, medium-height cliffs and a seabed of pebbles and gravel, all of which reinforce its natural, unspoilt character. Surroundings and location Caló d’en Monjo is one of the most beautiful coves in south-west Mallorca, alongside Caló de Ses Llisses and Cala Fornells beach, creating one of the most attractive coastal landscapes in the municipality of Calvià. This stretch of coastline also acts as a natural boundary between Calvià and Andratx, in a setting of great scenic value. Furthermore, it is one of the few beaches officially recognised as a naturist (nudist) bathing area in the municipality of Calvià, alongside Playa del Mago. Access and parking Access to Caló d’en Monjo requires a short walk: You first reach Peguera and then Cala Fornells. From the Cala Fornells area, a forest path of approximately 2 km begins. The path winds through Mediterranean woodland until it reaches the cove. Access on foot is part of its appeal, as it ensures a quieter, less crowded environment. Anchoring Caló d’en Monjo offers natural conditions suitable for anchoring, although experience and caution are recommended: Cove exposed to south-easterly winds. Presence of exposed rocks and shoals further in. Outer seabed of rock and seaweed at a depth of around 5 metres. Anchoring recommended only for small boats and with caution. The Club Nàutic Santa Ponça is located around 3 nautical miles away.
