Look around you: this landscape was built
From here you can see forests, fields, pastures and abandoned areas.
But none of this is by chance.
Pine trees grow where crops once stood. Reed has taken over spaces that were abandoned. Dry-stone walls mark out land that someone had to clear, work and demarcate.
This landscape did not form on its own. It is the result of centuries of labour, of resource use and of the constant transformation of the land.
It is also the result of decisions… and of inequalities.
What landscape will you leave for those who come after you?
