It forms part of a group of three large beaches in the area, alongside Es Carregador and Son Maties, all linked by a lively promenade. Nearby is also Cala Punta Marroig, which is designated for swimming with dogs.

Palmanova is one of Calvià’s main tourist centres, with an urban setting that blends seamlessly with the coastline. The beach is surrounded by restaurants, shops, hotels and all kinds of amenities, as well as a pleasant pine forest that provides natural shade.
